about me

Hi my name is Sofie. I am 11 years old. I have dyslexia and dysgraphia.

I sometimes look online to see what dyslexia is, but just couldn't find good informational websites. So I thought why don't I make my own website. So here it is, you will find information for teachers, friends of dyslexics and dyslexics themselfs.

On this website you will find the following: the strength of dyslexics, what not to say to a dyslexic, informational videos about dyslexia, interviews with people that know people with dyslexia or dyslexics themselfs!!

My own dyslexic powers are: math, seeing the big picture, reading (I have stealth dyslexia), puzzling, social life and I think pretty creative! What are your powers?

what is dyslexia?

Dyslexia is the most common learning disability. The term dyslexia was found by Rudolf Berlin, in the nineteenth century. Since then it has change a lot like they found that dyslexia is genetic, you don’t grow out of it and it is a deficiency is organized in the brains nervous system. All this information was found by using this amazing machine called MRI witch stand stands for magnetic resonance imaging. But still with all this new technology they don’t know what the cause of dyslexia is.
